Over the past few years, my mahi has centred around the mental health space, including Youth Sexual Harm, Mental Health and Addictions, and youth mentoring. My earlier work experience was in the early childhood education sector.

I am currently working in dual roles within the attendance space as a Whānau Ora Navigator for Koia te Mātauraka and as a Youth and Whānau Mentor for the Geraldine Social Workers Trust, based at Geraldine High School.

I am a mum to four girls who keep me on my toes, while I also work my way through university to become a registered counsellor. My goal is to work in schools as a guidance counsellor, drawing from educational and psychological training to empower ākonga and whānau to imagine and actualise their own growth and potential through holistic, person-centred approaches.
